
Ohio Department of Veterans Services, Partners to Present Women’s History Month ‘Power Hour’ on March 29

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Department of Veterans Services (ODVS) is inviting the public and media members to a special Women’s History Month program honoring the courage, resilience, and contributions of women in the military on Sunday, March 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
The event serves as an Ohio Women Veterans Advisory Committee “Power Hour” and also is supported by ODVS, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, the Ohio National Guard, and Think Veterans First.
This community event will feature an afternoon of networking, author discussions, and meaningful conversations centered on women’s military experiences and stories. Light refreshments will be provided during the networking hour from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by an author discussion beginning at 3 p.m. in the Franklin County Room of the museum, located at 300 W. Broad St. on the edge of downtown Columbus.

- The recent signing of Senate Bill 17, designating March 9 as 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion Day
- National Vietnam Veterans Day and Ohio Tuskegee Airmen Day – March 29
- Women’s History Month
