Chillicothe’s Cannan Smith reached the final in the 132 weight class, but dropped a 7-3 decision to Sheridan’s Maddux Laymon. It was Smith’s third time as a state placer. After 3rd place finishes in 2023 and 2024, he added runner-up to his resume with Sunday’s 2nd place finish.
