Pickaway Community Foundation Protein Project Supports County’s Hungry

(Circleville) – Did you know that with the beef purchased at the Pickaway County Fair more than 12 organizations have been supported during the project? Local Churches, PICCA, Ashville Food Pantry, Emergency Clearinghouse and Westfall Cares are among the organizations who have received beef in the past.

This is the fifth year of the PCCF Protein Project, in which PCCF buys the market steer from the Pickaway County fair, has it processed locally and distributes it to local non-profit organizations and food pantries who use it to feed those facing food insecurity.
