
Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce Announces Awards, Sets Goals
Article Presented By Accurate Heating, Cooling & Plumbing…
The Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual dinner on May 8th for nearly 260 attendees- a record for the event.
During the event Jan Shannon, Interim Director of the Chamber, announced some goals that they have for the next year.
These goals are:
- To assist members on information on programs that the Chamber have available.
- To hear what programs the community wants.
- Increase information coming from the Chamber via social media, e-blasts, local media, etc.
- Hold “Chamber Chats” to talk with businesses and how the Chamber can serve them.
- Continue enhancing their financial stability.
- Promote safety in their businesses.
- Grow partnerships, not only with members, but with community organizations as well.
The Chamber also announced their annual awards during the event.

The Business Pride Award was presented to Accurate Heating, Cooling & Plumbing.
The Jean Ankrom Memorial Retail-Service Award was presented to Joy House Coffee.


And the Business Person of the Year was presented to Jason Eitel, Owner and President of Hummel and Plum Insurance.
