Pickaway County Fair Selects 2025 Royalty

The Pickaway County Fair is off and running for 2025 as opening ceremonies Sunday evening were followed by selecting this year’s Queen & King Court.

2025 Pickaway Jr Fair Royalty:

Queen – Kaitlyn Ball is a 10 year member of the Scioto Scrappin’ & More 4-H club, and a 4 year member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board where she currently serves as the Vice President and as a member of the Royalty committee. Previously she was a 9 year member of Girl Scouts.  Kaitlyn has served as her 4-H club President and Vice President. Her hobbies include acting, public speaking, show choir, French Club, and crochet.  Kaitlyn is the 18-year-old daughter of Melissa Corbin and Jason Ball of Orient.  She is a recent graduate of Teays Valley High School and will study Chorale Music Education at Miami University this fall.

Queen Attendant – Lilly Moyer is a 6 year member of the Buttons & Bowls 4-H club where she has served as the Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President. Lilly is serving her third year on the Junior Fair Board where she serves on the Showman of Showmen committee. Lilly is a member of the Varsity Tennis team and is a Varsity Cheerleader.  Her hobbies include art, singing, cheerleading, and collecting random objects. Lilly will be a senior this fall at New Hope Christian Academy with plans to become an Army Animal Care Specialist. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Jared and Chris Moyer of Circleville.

King – Dalton Bush is the 17-year-old son of Eric and Deborah Bush of Orient.  Dalton has been a member of 4-H for 12 years where he has served as the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary in the Darby Fine and Dandy 4-H club. He is a 3 year member of Westfall FFA where he currently serves as the President as well as a  2 year member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board where he is the co-chair of the  Cloverbud committee as well as the treasurer.  Dalton enjoys golf, volleyball, camping and cooking. He will be a senior at Westfall High School this fall and plans to become a large animal veterinarian.

King Attendant – James Curtis is the 17 year old son of Carrie and Franklin Curtis of Circleville. He is a 6 year member of the Kountry Kids 4-H club and a 2 year member of Westfall FFA. James is a three year member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board where he serves on the Education committee. His favorite thing about the Pickaway County Fair is the community environment. James’ hobbies include wrestling, camping, track & field, and fishing.  He will be a senior at Westfall High School this fall and plans to become a Firefighter/EMS.

Princess – Avery Hines is a 10 year member of the Madison Livewires 4-H club where she currently serves as the President, and is a first year member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board. She is the daughter of Andrew and Avery Hines of Ashville. She will be a sophomore at Teays Valley High School this fall, where she is also a member of Teays Valley FFA. She intends to pursue being a large animal veterinarian specializing in farm animals.

The fair continues through Saturday June 21st with livestock judging headlining much of the week, along with grandstand entertainment each evening.
