Playground Being Added at Canal Park

(Circleville) — Construction at Canal Park for the new playground has begun.

According to the Pickaway County Park District website, the site prep includes construction of a handicap accessible ramp and earthwork to correct drainage issues. The fill dirt will be arriving this week and the earthwork will begin shortly after.

People are being asked to avoid the main parking lot during construction and do not park in front of the gate as it will be used as an entrance for the equipment.

Patrons are asked to use the Canal Road Pickaway Trailhead parking lot and the South End Towpath Trail Parking lot to access the trails.
