Red Cross Schedules July Area Blood Drives

There’s plenty of fun to map out this summer. The Red Cross encourages donors to join Camp Do Good and make a blood or platelet donation part of their summer bucket list this July. Patients are counting on the generosity of blood and platelet donors, especially around the Fourth of July, which is a challenging holiday to collect enough blood products for those in need.

There are several Red Cross promotions in Ross County for the month of July:

• All who come to give June 30-July 10, 2022 will receive an exclusive Red Cross recycled tote bag, while supplies last. Thanks to the Discovery Channel, those who come to give blood July 1-31, 2022, will automatically be entered for a chance to win a unique Shark Week merchandise package! Package includes a beach bike, smokeless portable fire pit, paddle board, kayak and a $500 gift card to put toward accessories for tons of outdoor adventure. Those who come to give blood, platelets or plasma July 21-24, 2022, will also receive an exclusive Shark Week T-shirt thanks to Discovery, while supplies last.
