Renovation Project Complete at Lake Hope State Park Dam

(Lake Hope State Park) – The Lake Hope Dam project is now complete as the spillway and area below the dam now are open. There are still a few minor things that need to be completed, according to information on the Lake Hope State Park Facebook site.

The lake level will be allowed to return to a normal pool level naturally, so with rain in the forecast, it might happen sooner rather than later. 

The year-long project upgraded the dam class to Level 1 and will ensure security and safety of everyone at the park and downstream.
