Ross County 2nd Half Property Tax Deadline July 12th

Article Presented By McDonald’s, I’m Lovin’ It!

(Chillicothe) – Ross County Treasurer David Jeffers is reminding all Ross County property owners that the second half real estate property taxes are due Friday, July 12th. To facilitate timely payments, the Treasurer’s office is offering several convenient payment options:

  • Online: Visit their website at www.rosscountyohio.gov/treasurer to make a payment.
  • By Phone: Call 1-844-970-4100 to pay over the phone.
  • In Person: Come to treasurer’s office located in the county courthouse at 2 N. Paint St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
  • Drop Box: Use one of the two payment drop boxes located at the courthouse and the Ross County Service Center parking lot.

To better accommodate taxpayers, the Treasurer’s office has extended hours this week. From July 8th through July 12th, the office will be open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (normally 4:30 PM).

Additionally, the Ross County Treasurer’s office is excited to announce the availability of paperless billing. Taxpayers now have the option to receive their bills via text or email. This environmentally friendly option helps reduce paper waste and ensures that bills are received promptly. To sign up for paperless billing, please visit our website at www.rosscountyohio.gov/treasurer.

“We encourage all taxpayers to take advantage of our extended hours and various payment options to ensure their taxes are paid on time,” said Treasurer David Jeffers. “Our new paperless billing option is another step towards making our services more convenient and efficient for Ross County residents.”

For more information, please visit our website or contact the Treasurer’s office at (740) 702-3080.
