
Ross County Fair King & Queen Candidates Announced

The 2025 Ross County Fair is August 2nd through 9th and fifteen teens will vie for fair royalty. Nine candidates for queen and six candidates for king. The contest will be held Sunday August 3rd at 8pm at the grandstand. Grandstand admission will be free for the contest.
Preliminary interviews were conducted over the weekend.
The Queen candidates are:

Lauren Andrews, the 17 year-old daughter of Jason and Tonya Andrews. She is an 11 year member of Walk Trot and Canter 4-H Club. Lauren will be a senior at Zane Trace High School this fall.

Lydia Beery, the 17 year-old daughter of Brian and Sadie Beery. She is an 12 year member of Ragged Ridge Ramblers 4-H Club. Lydia is an incoming senior at Adena High School.

Lorelei Bluck, the 18 year-old daughter of Joshua and Jillian Bluck. She is a 4 year member of Adena FFA. Lorelei will be a freshman at Wilmington College this fall.

Phoebe Cydrus, the 17 year-old daughter of Roger Norman and Katy and Joseph Plunkett. She is a 13 year member of All-4-One 4-H Club. Phoebe is an incoming junior at Circleville High School.

Raegan Gilliland, the 17 year-old daughter of Tytus and Jessica Gilliland. She is a 9 year member of Clover Clan 4-H Club. Raegan will be a senior at Paint Valley High School this fall.

Grace Hensley, the 16 year-old daughter of BJ and Heid Hensley. She is an 11 year member of Granny’s Bunch 4-H Club. Grace is an incoming junior at the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center.

Roni Lytle, the 17 year-old daughter of Dennis and Billie Lytle. She is a 12 year member of We Feed ‘Em Well 4-H Club. Roni will be a senior at Huntington High School this fall.

Ava Palmer, the 18 year-old daughter of Darrell and Lindsey Palmer. She is a 12 year member of Junior Livestock Growers 4-H Club. She’s an incoming freshman at The Ohio State University.

Paisley Welsh, the 17 year-old daughter of Rik and Lerosa Welsh. She’s a 12 year member of We Feed ‘Em Well 4-H Club. Paisley will be a senior at the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center this fall.
The King candidates are:

Preston Weaver, the 16 year-old son of Brad and Juie Weaver. He’s a one year member of Unioto FFA. He’s an incoming junior at Unioto High School.

Connor Swepston, is the 18 year-ol son of Aaron and Shannon Swepston. He is a 13 year member of Clover Bees 4-H Club. He’ll be a freshman at Wright State University this fall.

Slater Search, the 19 year-old son of Bill and Susan Search. He’s a 14 year member of the Bubble Gum Gang 4-H Club. Slater is an incoming sophomore at Ohio University.

Camron Naumovski, the 18 year-old son of Zoran Naumovski and Amy Smythe. He is a 13 year member of Clover Bees 4-H Club. Camron will be a freshman at the University of Cincinnati this fall.

Liam Lynch, the 16 year-old son of Timothy and Amanda Lynch. He is an 11 year member of the Clever Clovers 4-H Club. Liam is an incoming junior at Unioto High School.

Will Borland, the 18 year-old son of Thomas and Katrina Borland. He is a 13 year member of the Hallsville Friendly Neighbors 4-H Club. Will will be a senior at Zane Trace High School this fall.
