
Ross County Historical Society To Conduct 129th Annual Meeting April 28th

Ross County Historical Society will conduct their 129th Annual Meeting April 28th, where among items of business will be the presentation of their First Capital Awards for 2025.
This year’s winners are:

Kevin Coleman of Heritage Intrepid Services will be honored for Lifetime Achievement for Ross County History Preservation.
Frankfort Presbyterian Church is being recognized for restoration and preervation of the Church’s stained glass windows.
Chillicothe Monument & Hardy Memorials for the restoration and cleaning of the monuments at Soldier’s Circle at Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe.
Lew Speakman for Lifetime Achievement for Ross County History Preservation.
The meeting will also include the election of a member to fill one seat on the Society’s Board of Trustees. Elizabeth Cook has been nominated to serve a three-year term. RCHS President Dana Martinko is finishing her last three-year term and will be leaving the board after nine years.
The meeting is also the first under new Director Andrew Hall.
The annual meeting will be conducted at the Ross County Heritage Center, starting at 6:30pm.
