
Ross County Port Authority Announces Board Appointments

Chillicothe, Ohio – The Ross County Port Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of two members to its Board of Directors by the Ross County Commissioners.
Returning to the board for a second term is Ben Hall. President of Advantage Tent Fittings, a local manufacturing company, Hall serves on the boards of Greater Chillicothe & Ross County Development (GCRCD) and the Ross County Port Authority, supporting initiatives that promote business and economic development. Outside of his professional and civic roles, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and coaching youth soccer.
“I am honored to be reappointed to the Ross County Port Authority board and appreciate the opportunity to give back to a community that has been so supportive of my family’s manufacturing business. As the Port Authority continues to become more established, I believe it will play an increasingly important role in advancing economic development in Ross County and the surrounding region,” affirmed Hall.
The Port Authority also welcomes Mike Haller, who has been newly appointed to the board.
Retired President of Haller Funeral Home after 40 years of service, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Kingston National Bank and has held numerous civic roles including capital campaigns for Ross Co. Humane Society and Chairman of the Board of Adena Health System.
“I look forward to the opportunity to assist with economic development, infrastructure improvement and job creation in the community I love,” stated Haller.
