(Chillicothe) – In the evening from 6pm-7pm, the Ross County Historical Society kicks off its 2025 Speaker Series with a fascinating portrayal of Victoria Woodhull by Ohio historian and artist Robin Schuricht. Woodhull, a pioneering figure in 19th century American history, was among many things, a spiritualist, women’s suffrage advocate, journalist, free love proponent, financial advisor, and the first woman in the United States to run for president.
Schuricht will bring Woodhull’s life and legacy to life in a reflective 1st person retrospective, allowing the audience a glimpse into how this remarkable woman might have viewed her own life. Admission to this engaging and informative presentation is free and open to the public.
These events offer a unique chance to dive into history, whether through the eyes of young learners or through the lens of a groundbreaking woman who changed the course of American politics. We invite the community to attend and experience these exceptional programs.
