Ross Humane Society & Ross Dog Warden To Share Ohio Pets Grant
Article Presented By Classic Brands…
(Chillicothe) – Ross County Humane Society and the Ross County Dog Warden have been awarded additional funding through the Ohio Pets Grant.
This funding will go directly toward helping dogs in their care to get spayed, as well as assisting members of the community who meet income guidelines and are encountered by the dog warden during their day-to-day work.
“This means more dogs can be fixed, more families can get help, and fewer unwanted litters will end up in shelters. That’s a win all around. A huge thank-you to Ohio Pet Fund for making this possible.”
If you want to support efforts like this, it’s as easy as checking a box when you renew your plates. When you’re registering or renewing your Ohio dog license plates, be sure to look for the Ohio Pet Plate. Funds from these plates go right back to shelters and rescues across the state—including ours. Helping Ohio’s dogs starts with all of us.
