Ross Special Olympics To Benefit From Masons Successful Dinner

Article Presented By Classic Brands…

(Chillicothe) – Scioto Lodge # 6, Free & Accepted Masons are announcing that this year’s Chicken-Noodle dinner was one of the most successful—if not the most successful they’re ever had.

Lodge Officer Terrell Fairrow, who served as chairman of the event held April 6th at the Shrine Club on Belleview Avenue, said the profits for this year’s event amounted to $4,700 which the Lodge will donate to the Ross County Special Olympics for which the event is held each year.

Fairrow said the Lodge plans to present the check to Courtney Davis, the local coordinator for Special Olympics, and other officials connected to the program at the regularly scheduled Lodge meeting, Tuesday, May 2nd.

“First of all, we want to thank the citizens of Chillicothe and Ross County who made this such a huge success,” said Fairrow. “Secondly, we want to assure everyone that donated to the Chicken-Noodle Dinner that the money we raised locally is going to be spent locally. All of it.”
