Article Presented By Litter Quality Propane…
(Ross County) – The Ross-Pickaway-Highland-Fayette Solid Waste District will host its Hard-to-Recycle Collection Event on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 8am to 12pm at the Ross County Fairgrounds.
This event, offered only once every two years, provides residents with a rare opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and other difficult-to-recycle items — including tires, electronics, paints, chemicals, batteries, and more. By participating, residents help keep harmful materials out of our landfills, waterways, and environment.
Important details:
- Event is open to residents of Ross, Pickaway, Highland, and Fayette Counties only.
- Proof of residency is required (driver’s license or utility bill).
- Items accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until containers are full.
- Some items have disposal fees.
