RR Bridge Construction Work To Impact Chillicothe’s 7th & Sugar Streets

(Chillicothe) – Chillicothe City Safety Service Director Jeff Carman announces construction work related to the railroad bridge above the intersection of Seventh Street and Sugar Street, will begin on Monday, December 1, 2025. Crews will be raising the railroad to allow better passage for larger vehicles such as emergency vehicles and refuse trucks.
For the remainder of the school year, until Thursday, May 28, 2026, Seventh Street will be narrowed to one lane. Beginning Friday, May 29, 2026, this intersection will be closed.
