Series of Road Projects To Impact Pike County Motorists

A series of culvert replacement projects will impact motorists in Pike County through early October of 2023.
Work is set to begin on September 11th for a series of four culvert replacements on State Route 124 by Pike County ODOT forces. All four locations are between Dry Bone Road and Dogwood Lane. State Route 124 will be closed daily from 8am-3pm for this construction. Specific dates and locations for each culvert are listed below.
- September 11 – 13: Between Nace Corner Road and Bell Hollow Road
- September 20 – 22: Between Nace Corner Road and Bell Hollow Road
- September 25 – 28: Between Dogwood Lane and Nace Corner Road
- October 2 – 5: Between Bell Hollow Road and Dry Bone Road
During work hours traffic will be detoured via S.R. 32, S.R. 73, and S.R. 41. The road will be open outside of work hours. Estimated completion: October 5, 2023
Also starting on September 11th is work for a bridge maintenance project on S.R. 32 on the bridge over the Scioto River at the S.R. 104 intersection. There will be a left lane closure eastbound for the duration of the project. Work will occur daily from 7Am – 7PM. Estimated completion: September 14, 2023
