Silent Watch 2022 “Stand For Our Veterans”

The annual awareness/prevention observance known as Silent Watch- Stand For Our Veterans, will be held September 22nd at the Ross County Courthouse. The event is being done in other communities as well, throughout the state.

The 8am-4pm local observance will see people standing at attention in 15 minute shifts. For those wanting to participate, but unable to stand for the quarter-hour, there will be chairs provided for them to sit in.

Resource material on the subject of suicide prevention will also be available for those in attendance. If you would like to stand for a 15 minute watch, contact Nikki or Stacey at the Ross County Veterans Office at (740) 772-1600.

The Greenfield McClain High School Cadet Corp will perform closing ceremonies at the event, at 4pm.
