SOC Boys Track Meet Has Co-Champs While Wheelersburg Wins Girls Title

Thursday’s SOC Track & Field finals proved to be very close. So close that the boys team championship ended in a tie between Wheelersburg and Minford, while Wheelersburg was 15 points better than runner-up Waverly for the girls team title at Green High School.

Minford and Wheelersburg each garnered 125 points for the co-championship in the boys meet. Waverly was third with 101.5 points. The Lady Pirates scored 120 points for the girls team crown with Waverly at 105 points. Notre Dame was a distant third place.
