
State Fire Marshal Offers Reward For Info On Frankfort Residence Arson Fire

(Frankfort) – Investigators with the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office have ruled a mobile home fire in Ross County as arson and are now seeking tips from the public to identify those responsible.
At 10:51pm on Saturday, July 5th, the Concord Township Fire Department and several other fire agencies responded to a fire in a vacant mobile home located at 63 ½ North Second Street in Frankfort. Upon arriving at the scene, crews found a fire in a room of the residence. No one was injured in the fire.
During the investigation, investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigations Bureau determined the fire was the result of an intentional human act. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
