State Route 32 Intersection Improvement Proposed By ODOT

(Southern Ohio) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation—District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for an intersection improvement project for the S.R. 32, S.R. 104, and Tennyson Road intersection.
PIK-32-10.02(118121) It is proposed to perform an intersection safety project at the intersection of SR 32, SR 124 and Tennyson Rd. The project is located in Newton Township, of Pike County.
No new right-of-way will be needed for the project. No homes or businesses will be removed by the project. The funding for the project is 90% Federal and 10% Local.
S.R. 32 will be open for the duration of the project.
Tennyson Road, Gleason Road, eastbound S.R. 124 to eastbound State Route 32 and eastbound State Route 32 to westbound S.R. 124 will be closed during different phases of construction.
Eastbound S.R. 124 to eastbound S.R. 32 will be detoured via S.R. 124 to S.R. 772 to S.R. 220 to S.R. 552 to S.R. 104 to S.R. 32.

The environmental commitment date is 2/28/2025. The project is currently expected to be awarded 10/1/2025.
