The Hillsboro Girls and Miami Trace Boys were crowned Champions of the Frontier Athletic Conference Bowling Tournament hosted by Hillsboro’s Highland Lanes.
both Indians squads were regular season FAC Champions. The Hillsboro Girls recorded a 15-0 mark while the Hillsboro Boys were 14-1.
In Friday’s FAC tournament, Hillsboro scored a total pinfall of 2414 for the Girls title while the Panthers tallied a pinfall of 2658 on the Boys side. Miami Trace was 13-2 on the season.
Behind the Hillsboro Girls was second place Chillicothe (2066), Miami Trace (2035), Jackson (1562), Washington CH (1536) and McClain (1309).
Following the Miami Trace Boys was second place Hillsboro (2556), Washington CH (2509), Jackson (2480), Chillicothe (2317) and McClain (1614).

The Miami Trace Lady Panthers won the FAC Girls Golf Championship Monday, winning the final league match by two strokes over Chillicothe, who was tied with Miami Trace heading into the season’s final match.
Miami Trace finished with an FAC record of (33-2) with Chillicothe at (30-5). Libby Aleshire of Miami Trace was named FAC Girls Golfer of the Year.
The match medalist for the final match was Chillicothe’s Isabella Fischer with an 87.

The Chillicothe Cavaliers slipped past McClain, while the Lady Tigers returned the favor over the Lady Cavs as the top two teams in the Frontier Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships at Miami Trace, Thursday.
The Cavs Boys team scored 145 points for the team crown, with McClain runner-up with 134. Miami Trace was third with 132, then Hillsboro 83.5, Washington CH 78.5 and Jackson with 77.
On the Girls side, McClain wins the team title with 159.5, Chillicothe’s Lady Cavs were runner-up with 134, followed by Hillsboro 101, Miami Trace 94, Jackson 87 and Washington CH 64.5.
