WCH To Host Truck Meet and Truck Show Shop Hop Event

The City of Washington Court House will host the Second Saturday Truck Meet and Truck Show Shop Hop Event on July 9th.

The City will close North Main from Court Street to Market Street beginning at 4am on Saturday, July 9th and reopen following the event at 8pm Saturday.

All vehicles should be removed within this area before 4am Saturday, or remaining vehicles will be towed by the Washington CH Police at owners expense, according to City Administrative Assistant Kelley Ford.

Circleville Girls/Unioto Boys D-2 Track Champs at WCH Meet

The Circleville Lady Tigers are Division 2 District Track & Field Champs at Washington CH.

Circleville won the girls team title with 121 points, outdistancing runner-up Unioto with 104 points. McClain was third followed by Logan Elm, and Washington CH in the 13 team field.

The Shermans of Unioto won the boys team championship with 79 points. Zane Trace was second with 69 points and Portsmouth third at 68, Logan Elm fourth with 63.5 points and Waverly fifth in the 16 team field.

Miami Trace Wins FAC Wrestling Championship

The powerhouse tradition of Miami Trace Wrestling continued Friday, as they won the Frontier Athletic Conference Championship, with Chillicothe as runner-up.

The Panthers won 8 of the 13 weight classes in the meet.

The Frontier Athletic Conference football coaches have selected their All FAC team. Miami Trace running back Jayden Lebeau is the “FAC Player of the Year”, rushing for over 1,800 yards this season.
