Teays Valley To Honor Past MSL Girls Basketball Champions

(Ashville) – As Teays Valley High School winds down its membership in the Mid State League in the 2023-24 school year, they will be looking back at past girls basketball league champions prior to a big Girls MSL-Buckeye Basketball contest this Saturday Night, January 27th between the unbeaten Circleville Lady Tigers and the defending MSL Champ Lady Vikings.
Litter Media Radio will be broadcasting Saturday’s game LIVE.
“TV MSL Championship Night” will be a celebration held between the varsity and JV games honoring all past Teays Valley Championship Teams.
The Vikings recently celebrated 50 years of the Girls Basketball program. Teays Valley recorded titles as members of the Metro League in 1975, ’76 and ’77 and the SCOL in 1979. Last season, they added a sixteenth Mid State League championship.
Alumni of championship teams should arrive by at the gymnasium by 6:30pm Saturday. All teams will be introduced on the court with the Big Game vs Circleville Girls to follow.
