
Unheard Voices Exhibit Comes To Ross County Heritage Center

(Chillicothe) – The Ross County Heritage Center invites the public to a special reception celebrating the opening of its newest exhibit, “Unheard Voices: A Selective History of African American Men and Women of Chillicothe and Ross County,” on Saturday, June 21, from 2pm to 4pm at 45 W 5th St, Chillicothe, Ohio.
This reception marks the debut of a powerful archival exhibit honoring the contributions and experiences of African American individuals in the local community. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments, explore the exhibit, and engage in conversations with the museum’s Lead Archivist, who will be available throughout the event to provide insight and answer questions.
A short program will begin at 3pm, featuring remarks from museum staff and background on the exhibit’s development and significance.
This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend and help celebrate the preservation and recognition of these vital local histories.
