Union Scioto School Seeks To Fill Vacant Board of Education Seat

(Chillicothe) – The Union-Scioto Local School District is seeking applicants to fulfill a vacancy on the Board of Education, due to the recent passing of long-time board member Laura Uhrig. The position is through December 31, 2023.  To finish the two-year open term, the chosen candidate would need to be on the ballot November 7, 2023.

Resumes should be dropped off in person at the Treasurer’s Office at 1565 Egypt Pike weekdays between 8am-4pm.  Resumes may also be emailed to John Rose, Treasurer at jrose@gotanks.org.

All resumes must be received by Monday, May 8th at 4pm.

Candidates must be available for interviews on May 9th and May 10th. Candidates must also reside in the Union-Scioto District.
