Chillicothe, Ohio – McDonald’s recognized Unioto High School senior Milee Smith for her nomination to the prestigious McDonald’s All American Games, celebrating her outstanding accomplishments and impact on the court during a special presentation on Monday, February 9. Smith was one of only ten Ohio student-athletes to be nominated for the games.
Being nominated for the McDonald’s All American Games places Smith among an elite group of the nation’s top high school basketball players. While only a select number of athletes are chosen for the final game rosters each year, McDonald’s is honoring Smith’s nomination as a significant milestone that reflects her talent, dedication, and leadership both on and off the court.

The recognition took place at Unioto High School on Monday, February 9 at 7pm. Smith was honored in front of her teammates, classmates, coaches, family, and community members.
The nomination is the latest in a growing list of accomplishments for Smith, a four-year starter who has committed to play college basketball at the University of Dayton. Earlier this season, Smith set the single-game scoring record with a 45-point performance and became the school’s all-time leading scorer in boys and girls basketball.
“Milee’s nomination speaks volumes about the level of excellence she has achieved,” said Megan Brumfield, a McDonald’s Owner/Operator in Chillicothe. “We are proud to recognize her hard work and the example she sets for student-athletes in the Chillicothe community and beyond.”

The 49th annual McDonald’s All American Games will take place on Tuesday, March 31 in Phoenix. The official rosters were released earlier this month.
