Unioto Softball Stakes Claim to 2024 SVC Championship

Unioto’s Lady Shermans have taken back the crown for SVC Softball after being displaced last season by Adena. Unioto’s 9-8 win over Westfall Monday ran the Tanks conference record to (13-0) with one league game to play.

That 2024 conference finale will be at home vs Adena Wednesday (5/1/24), where Unioto can win the Gold Ball with a victory. If successful, it would be their first since 1998. Unioto beat Adena earlier this season.

Their 2024 crown is the 12th in school history for softball. Looking ahead to the postseason, Unioto is a #2 seed in the Division 2 Southeast District.
