United Way of Ross County Sets Community Impact Funding Application Dates

(Chillicothe) – United Way of Ross County has announced the portal to apply for 2025 Community ImpactFunding to local nonprofit organizations will open September 6th, 2024, and close October 4th, 2024.

Completed applications and supporting documents will be reviewed by community volunteers who carefully evaluate proposals in alignment with community needs. The Community Impact Council forwards recommendations for funding to the UWRC Board of Directors.

Funding is available to local 501(c)3 organizations serving the residents of Ross County. Proposals must align with at least one of United Way’s impact areas: health, education or economic stability. All applications are reviewed by the Community Impact Council volunteers. Funding decisions will be announced in December 2024.

Applications must be submitted online.

Proposals for capital projects are not eligible for Community Impact funding. Submitted proposals must align with at least one of the primary areas of impact/focus:

· Health

·Education

·Economic Stability (formerly income or safety net)
