Uptown Circleville Announces Lineup for June 6th First Friday

Article Presented By McDonald’s, “I’m Lovin’ It!”

(Circleville) – Uptown Circleville invites the community to attend First Friday on June 6, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm in downtown Circleville. The event offers an evening of local shopping, entertainment, and community engagement, with activities for all ages and interests.

A highlight of the evening is “Pieing with a Purpose,” a fundraising event benefiting Pickaway County Special Olympics, where local public figures will volunteer to be pied to help raise awareness and funds for the organization.

The popular Cruise-In Passport also returns, inviting attendees to visit participating Uptown businesses. Passports can be picked up at Uniquely Yours (122 N Court St) from 10 AM–7 PM or at the DJ booth during the Cruise-In from 5–7 PM. Guests who collect stamps at local businesses—no purchase necessary—will be entered into a drawing to win an Uptown Experience Gift Basket.

At 6:15pm, the Pickaway County Historical Society will lead a Historical DORA Walk, beginning at Tootles Pumpkin Inn (117 East Main Street). This one-hour guided tour will explore the city’s original street layout, historic architecture, and hidden stories. A suggested donation of $5 or more supports the Historical Society’s preservation efforts. DORA beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase at Tootles and may be enjoyed during the tour.

Classic car enthusiasts can enjoy the Roundtown Cruisers Car Show, featuring a display of vehicles along North Court Street (in area of 122 North Court). The show is sponsored by DeLong Insurance. Additional highlights include food from Mega Bites Food Truck, music and broadcasts from Roundtown Radio.

“Our goal with First Fridays is to create experiences that bring people together while supporting our local businesses and community partners,” said Jenny Rhoads, Uptown Circleville Promotions Committee Member and volunteer with Pickaway County Special Olympics. “It’s exciting to see events like Pieing with a Purpose and the Historical Walk add both impact and energy to our downtown.”

Uptown Circleville thanks its First Friday sponsors, including DeLong Insurance, Perfection One, and Homeland Credit Union, for their continued support.

Looking ahead, Uptown Circleville will host the Christmas in July Sidewalk Sale-a-Bration from July 17–19, followed by the Uptown Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on Saturday, July 19.
