Waverly Hires New Boys Basketball Coach

Presented By Rathkamp Financial

Waverly High School has announced the hiring of a new boys varsity basketball coach, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of 15-year head coach Travis Robertson.

Evan Callihan is the new head coach, according to Waverly City Schools social media.

Callihan, a graduate of Circleville High School, served for 11 years as an assistant coach for the Circleville Lady Tigers, under former head coach Steve Kalinoski.

Callihan will have his work cut out for him, replacing Robertson, who led the Waverly Tigers over 15 seasons and finished with an SOC 2 Championship and State Final 4 appearance.
