WCH To Host Tri-County Battle of the Bands

(Washington CH) – Fayette County Travel and Tourism Bureau is announcing they will host the Tri-County Battle of the Bands in downtown Washington CH on Friday, August 11th. The other counties represented will be Highland and Clinton. The opening ceremony will begin around 7pm with the first band performing at 7:30pm.

Johnny Lawless will be representing Fayette County, The Jesters are from Highland County, and Vinyl Countdown is from Clinton County. This is a friendly competition between counties. The audience chooses the winner. 

Werner’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Penny’s Snack Shack, and Gigi’s KettlePop will have food, plus Elks Lodge #129 will be selling food and drinks. It’s also a DORA weekend. 

Activities begin downtown at 5pm for the Shoppin’ & Rockin’ Shop Hop hosted by Main Street Fayette. Shop local businesses and discover all that downtown #WCH has to offer.

This event is free to attend. Bring your own lawn chairs.
