Website Workshop Planned For January 25th

(Piketon) – The Workforce & Business Development Program of the Community Action Committee of Pike County will be conducting a workshop focusing on creating and building the foundation of a website using the web-based Wix.com platform. This workshop offers simple instructions on creating a website with available templates as well as “made-from-scratch” websites with the tools provided through the Wix platform. You will also learn to launch the website live on the Internet.  

This event will be hosted on January 25th, 2023 from 1pm to 4pm at 941 Market Street in Piketon and is open to the public. W&B staff members, Adam Days and Cody Altman will be instructing the workshop. Both Adam and Cody have extensive experience with the Wix platform and with building and launching active websites for various organizations.  

“I am very excited that we are able to offer this workshop to anyone in the community who would like to learn more about building a website for their business or personal use,” stated Lisa Pfeifer, Program Director of the Workforce & Business Development Program. “Adam and Cody have an extensive knowledge of using this user-friendly software and will share the knowledge with attendees, as well as the tips and tricks that they have learned over the years.”
