Westfall Hires New Head Football Coach- Logan Stepp
Presented By Scioto Valley Dumpsters, LTD
As expected, the Westfall Board of Education hired a new varsity head football coach at their Monday night meeting. Logan Stepp will replace Brad Smith as the head coach of the Westfall Mustangs.
Stepp is a 2014 graduate of West Jefferson High School and also graduated in 2018 from Otterbein University. Stepp, who played for Westfall grad Shawn Buescher, has been his assistant at West Jefferson for the last four years.
The Mustangs have struggled in recent years, going (12-23) under Coach Smith the last four seasons. Smith was thrust into the position after Coach Trent Olds was placed on administrative leave, just before the start of the 2018 season.
Stepp becomes the fourth Westfall football coach since 2013, where they have recorded a (23-60) record in that stretch.
