Westfall Locks Up SVC 2024 Girls Golf Title

The Lady Mustangs of Westfall wrapped up their third straight SVC Girls Golf Championship Monday, outdistancing conference runner-up Piketon by 10 points in the final two rounds of SVC play for 2024.

Westfall won both SVC Matches #6 and #7 Monday at Chillicothe Jaycees Course. Their team scores were 182 on the front 9 and 166 on the back 9.

In Match #6 on the Front 9, Match medalist was Westfall’s Paige Weiss with a 36. Co-runner-ups were Piketon’s Laila Kelley and Zane Trace’s Rosella Lattavo with 40 each.

For Match #7 on the Back 9: Match co-medalists were Westfall’s Paige Weiss and Zane Trace’s Rosella Lattavo at 35 each. Runner-up was Westfall’s Caroline Sever with a 38.

Sectional tournament play for many of the girls teams begins next week.
