Zane Trace Seeks To Fill School Board Vacancies
Presented By McDonald’s, I’m Lovin’ It!
(Kinnikinnick)– The Zane Trace Local School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill two Board Member vacancies. The newly appointed Board Members will serve until December 31, 2022.
Shane Parker and Angie Lochbaum had filled out petitions to run for the seats, but an error in their petitions prevented them from being able to to run in the election.
District Treasurer Tambrea Irwin told Litter Media’s Mike Smith that the the board of education will interview anyone seeking appointment to the two positions. Theoretically, Parker and Lochbaum could also apply for the appointment, but they too would need to be interviewed by the board before being considered, if they are interested in applying for the appointment.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, district residents and registered voters.
