Eastern held a couple of 14 point leads in the second period and took a 33-21 lead into halftime. Western pulled to within 35-27 early in the third quarter, only to see Eastern’s Jace White hit a three-pointer to give the Eagles a double-digit lead that never dipped under that the rest of the game. Eastern led 51-35 after three then closed out with the 65-41 win.
