
Ashville 4th of July Celebration Opens Tuesday

The Ashville 4th of July Celebration begins Tuesday June 30th with its preview night in northern Pickaway County.
The preview night includes a parade at 7pm featuring the eight contestants vying for Miss Ashville 4th of July and Little Miss and Little Mister contestants. The Little Mis & Mister Contest and the 2026 Distinguished Woman of the Year will take place at 8pm in the Village Park. The daily fish fry will also be served at 5pm, served by the Ashville Community Men’s Club. The Grand Parade will be Saturday at 11am.

The Miss Ashville 4th of July pageant begins at 7pm Wednesday. Contestants include Berkley Brown, the daughter of Derek Brown & Jeni Lutz; Brilynn Marcum, the daughter of Willie Marcum & Beth Marcum; Briar Furby, the daughter of Shea & Sabrina Furby; Leighton Thornton, the daughter of Brian & Dina Thornton; Skyler Livingston, the granddaughter of Debbie Ford & Mark Flanagan; Abby Wilt, the daughter of Willie & Dixie Marcum and Doug & Whitney Wilt; Evelyn Siers, the daughter of Nick & Katie Siers; and Lydia Marcum, the daughter of Willie Marcum & Beth Marcum. Reigning Miss Ashville 4th of July Mallory Frabott and Attendants Sydney McMahon and Layla Nutter will help crown the new royalty.
The festival activities begin at 5pm Tuesday through Thursday and at 11am Friday and Saturday through 11pm nightly. Ride bands are available for the amusement rides at special prices. Bands are $20 on Tuesday, $15 if purchased between 5pm-6pm Wednesday and $24 after 6pm. Thursday, in honor of America’s 250th birthday, the first 250 wristbands are just $2.50. Ride bands Friday and Saturday will be $25.
Entertainment includes Gunner Harrison at 5pm Tuesday, Rob Adams at 5pm Wednesday and 7 Mile Bluegrass Thursday at 6pm. Friday’s lineup features Ashville Idol Prelims at 5pm and Finals at 6pm. Saturday the stage features Hollyview at 2pm, The Raineys at 5pm and McGuffey Lane returns at 8pm followed by the annual Fireworks Display at 10pm.
