Baseball Pairings: Play Begins Next Week

The OHSAA post season brackets have taken shape for the 2026 Baseball season.

In the Southeast District, play begins Monday May 18^th with Division V seeing action for seeds 13 through 20. Minford is the top seed in D V. Lucasville Valley is the #2 with Lynchburg-Clay third and SVC Champ, Zane Trace fourth seed, each with first round byes. They’ll host May 18^th winners on May 21^st to advance three of the four District Sem-Final games being played at VA Memorial Stadium, the other at Ohio University’s Bob Wren Stadium. Divisions IV and VI open District Quarterfinals on Tuesday May 19^th. Fairfield Union sits atop the D IV Southeast Bracket, ahead of second seeded Unioto and third seed Wheelersburg. All three have byes. On May 23^rd, Fairfield Union will face the winner of Westfall and Circleville at Ohio University. Also on the 23^rd, Unioto will play the Logan Elm-Vinton County winner and Wheelersburg meets the Waverly-Washington winner, both games at VA Memorial Stadium.SEE THE SOUTHEAST BRACKETS HERE.

Tops in D VI is Huntington and Eastern Meigs is the #2 seed. Both will have byes. The Huntsmen will host the winner of Symmes Valley and North Adams on May 23^rd at VA Memorial Stadium and Eastern will play at Ohio University awaiting the winner of Paint Valley and Adena. In the eight school Division III bracket, there are four District Quarterfinals on May 20^th.  Jackson is #1 and will host eighth seeded Marietta while fourth seeded Athens will host fifth seeded Chillicothe. #2 seed Miami Trace plays #7 Warren and #3 Sheridan hosts #6 Hillsboro in the lower bracket. The winners will play each other in the District Semi-Final games at Ohio University on May 27^th and the District Final is scheduled for May 28^th at OU.

Division VII District Quarter-Finals begin on May 21^st with winners advancing to the Semi-Finals at Logan High School on May 27^th.  Green is the #1 seed and will face the Fairfield-Southern winner South Webster is the #2 seed and awaits the Whiteoak-Miller winner. In the Central District, Division I Semifinal games will each be played on May 26^th. Lancaster is the eighth seed and will travel to #6 Dublin Coffman. OCC Buckeye foe Newark is the #7 seed and will play #12 Hilliard Darby at Coffman. The winners play in the Final on May 28^th. SEE THE DIVISION I CENTRAL BRACKET HERE.

Teays Valley is the #2 seed in the Division II Central District and will host the winner of Canal Winchester-Northland on May 27^th. The District Final is set for May 29^th. Logan is the 13^th seed and plays at Whetstone on May 23^rd. The winner heads to #3 seed Big Walnut and the Final is May 28^th. SEE THE DIVISION II CENTRAL BRACKET HERE.

In Division V, Amanda Clearcreek is the #10 seed and will host Harvest Prep on May 23^rd. The winner faces top seed East Knox on May 26^th. The Final is May 28^th at Lancaster’s Beaver Field. SEE THE DIVISION V CENTRAL BRACKET HERE.
