Deercreek Dam Days Returns May 27-30 in Williamsport

Pickaway County – Festival season returns to Pickaway County as Deercreek Dam Days brings four days of live music, rides, food, fireworks, contests, and community traditions back to Williamsport May 27 through May 30.

Held near Deer Creek State Park, the longtime festival has become a Memorial Day week tradition for many families across the region, blending small-town atmosphere with several days of entertainment and activities for all ages.

The 2026 festival opens Wednesday, May 27 with parade lineup beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the parade at 6 p.m. and the 2026 Queen Contest at 7 p.m. Festival rides and midway activities begin at 4 p.m., with Bingo in the Big Tent scheduled from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Live music takes center stage throughout the weekend. Rob Adams performs Thursday evening from 7 to 11 p.m., followed by Seventy 80 on Friday night from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday’s lineup includes performances by 10 Talents from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Direct Energy from 8 to 11 p.m.

Friday night also features the festival fireworks show at 10 p.m., with a rain date scheduled for Saturday, May 30. The beer garden opens Thursday and continues throughout the weekend near the main stage tent.

Saturday brings one of the festival’s busiest days with the 5K beginning at 9 a.m., the patriotic baby contest at 10 a.m., Kids Fest activities from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the Kids Buckeye Tractor Pull beginning at 11:30 a.m. The afternoon parade begins at 3 p.m. with visiting queens announced at 4 p.m.

Kids Fest includes bounce houses, a balloon twister, dunk tank, face painting, farm animals, local EMS and fire vehicles, and displays from area organizations including the Pickaway County Dog Shelter, Pickaway County Park District, and Pickaway Soil and Water Conservation District.

Additional festival activities throughout the week include the Hot Dog Eating Contest on Friday evening along with nightly rides and midway attractions.

The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau encourages visitors to explore the Deer Creek area while attending the festival, including nearby Deer Creek State Park, Deer Creek Lodge, local dining, outdoor recreation, camping, boating, hiking, and additional summer events happening throughout Pickaway County.

Deercreek Dam Days takes place May 27-30, 2026 in Williamsport, Ohio. Admission is free.
