DeWine: Salons, Spas and Outdoor Dining Reopening May 15th, Indoor Dining May 21st
The long awaited haircut, style and spa appointments got a bit closer today as did dining other than carryout.
During his daily news conference Thursday, Governor Mike DeWine released the next dates for getting Ohio’s economy back on track.
Barbers, hair salons and day spas can reopen May 15th. Restaurants can also begin serving customers with outdoor dining on the 15th, then service indoors can resume May 21st.

Meanwhile, Ohio’s total cases for COVID-19 is 22,131 with 4,140 persons hospitalized and 1,271 total deaths.
The Vinton County Health Department reported its ninth and tenth cases after lasting several weeks as the final of the state’s 88 counties without a positive case.
Ross County rose to 44 total cases with 445 patients being tested. Those numbers have remained a consistent 10% positive result since testing began. Chillicothe Correctional Institution had its first positive test among staffers in Thursday’s Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections report.
