In the race for Governor of Ohio, Amy Acton was unopposed and will be the Democratic Party’s candidate and Vivek Ramaswamy was the winner of the Republican Primary.
Among local issues, Chillicothe City Schools proposed tax Levy and the Proposed Municipal Income Tax for Chillicothe were narrowly defeated.
Waverly City Schools tax levy also failed by a nearly 3-to-1 vote as did the Pickerington Local Schools levy.
Jackson City Schools levy passed by 100 votes in Jackson County.
In Pickaway County the Senior Citizens Tax Levy passed. Vinton County voters also passed their Tax Levy for Seniors as well as the renewal for Developmental Disabilities and OSU Extension.
