Area law enforcement is echoing warnings from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration about counterfeit pills that can kill.
The DEA earlier this week, issued a warning that counterfeit pills containing fentanyl are on the increase. Officials say they are finding that 2 out of 5 counterfeit pain killer pills contain enough fentanyl to kill a person.
Officials remind everyone to only use medication prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacy.
Parents talk to your kids about this danger.
