Adena Mansion & Gardens To Open June With Weekend Events

(Chillicothe) – Adena Mansion and Gardens will become the place to be for upcoming events to open the first weekend in June.

Join Steve Patrick on Saturday, June 1st, as they continue to honor Skip Hathaway and her love of art with Skip into Art. This art class is for children ages five and up, and children must have a parent or chaperone with them. Admission to this event is free, and art supplies will be provided.

Also on June 1st, the Adena Worthingtons will challenge The Ohio Village Muffins in a doubleheader exhibition of vintage baseball played by 19th-century rules. The game begins at 3pm and is free and open to the public.

Little explorers can use their skills to hunt different items at the Nature Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, June 2nd at 2pm. This event will take place on the grounds at Adena Mansion and Gardens. Children will get to explore the Worthington estate while learning about nature. Admission for this event is free, and children ages five and up are welcome and must have a parent or chaperone accompany them.
