Chillicothe Employment Expo: May 12th at OU-Chillicothe Shoemaker Center

(Chillicothe) – OhioMeansJobs- Ross County, Ross County Community Action, Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce, Pickaway Ross Career Technology Center, Ohio University-Chillicothe and other community agencies have joined forces to bring an in-person Employment Expo to Chillicothe.

Slated for Thursday, May 12th between 3pm-6pm at Ohio University-Chillicothe’s Shoemaker Center, the Employment Expo will feature over 60 employers and community agencies.  Participating employers are eager to hire for positions ranging from entry-level to management.  Community agencies will be in attendance to offer information about their workforce development initiatives and community programs. 

Computers and printers will be available for job seekers.  Be prepared to be interviewed on the spot. 

Refreshments will be provided by the Ross County Community Action and The Water Express.  Chillicothe Transit will be available for job seekers with transportation needs.  Door prizes drawings during the Expo. 

Community partners attending:  Ross County Reentry Program, Bureau of Worker’s Compensation, Office of Workforce Development, Vantage Aging, The Pioneer Center, Ohio University Career Ready, Pickaway Ross CTC, Chillicothe Transportation, Military Veterans Info Centers, Ohio Means Jobs, Ross Co Community Action, South Central JFS, and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities. 

The Expo is open to the public, no registration is required.
