Chillicothe Halloween Festival Grant Applications Now Open

(Chillicothe) – The Chillicothe Halloween Festival’s Board of Directors are announcing the opening of the festival’s Community Grant Program for 2023. This year, the festival will be granting a total of $3,500 in funding to area non-profit organizations. To qualify for grant funding an organization must be recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service, located and serve Ross County residents, submit a completed application and any applicable supporting documentation by December 4, 2023.

Organizations may request up to $1,500 in funding for support of their program. The focus of this grant funding is to enrich the lives of residents in Ross County.

“Following another very successful festival, we’re excited to once again be able to increase funding for our Community Grant Program.” Stated Gene Betts, President of the Chillicothe Halloween Festival. “Over the past seven years, the festival has continued to grow and bring new activities, vendors, and entertainment to the community. Through this growth of the festival, we’re able to increase the funding of the Community Grant Program to assist more programs and services that enrich the lives of Ross County residents.”

Applications can be downloaded from the festival’s website at www.ChillicotheHalloweenFestival.com or copies are available at the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau at 230 North Plaza Blvd.

Completed applications can be scanned and emailed to grants@chillicothehalloweenfestival.com or dropped off at the Visitors Bureau no later than 4pm on December 4, 2023. Late entries will not be considered for funding.
