Jamie Elliott’s daughter Samantha was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2005, which led to her life saving treatment at St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Jamie has been giving back to St. Jude’s ever since. Her daughter Samantha is now 24-years-old and doing well as an adult.
When actor Danny Thomas started the mission for St. Jude’s in 1962, the treatment survival rate for children with cancer was only 20%. Now it’s 80%.
