D-1 & D3 Regional Track & Field Sends Area Athletes To State Meet

Ashland Crestview Boys and Worthington Christian Girls won Division 3 Regional Track & Field team championships at Southeastern High School, Friday.

Crestview compiled 66.5 points. The highest local team finish was Huntington with 23 points for a 7th place finish.

Worthington Christian Girls garnered 67 points, with the highest local team finishes coming from North Adams 4th, Adena 5th, and Zane Trace 6th.

Individual regional champs from our area include:
Justin Moore- Valley (boys shot put)
Sydney Foglesong- Adena (discus)
Cole Miller- Paint Valley (long jump)
Sierra Kendall- North Adams (long jump, 100 hurdles)
Marie Souther- Zane Trace (800 run)
Lydia Kittner- Whiteoak (400 run)
Myla Toole- North Adams (1600 run)

Anyone in top four advances to state.
