Drummond has led successful golf programs at the former Bishop Flaget High School, then later at Unioto.

At Bishop Flaget, he led the Panthers to a third place finish at the State Tournament in 1984.

The Scioto Valley Conference adopted golf as a sport in the fall of 1993, where Drummond led Unioto to the first conference title that season, then ran-off a streak of 8 straight conference titles, sharing with Huntington in 1995. Thus far at Unioto, Drummond has 22 SVC championships under his belt through the 2021 season. The 2012 team was unbeaten through all of their regular season matches. He has led several Shermans’ teams and individual players to the state golf tournament.

Alongside a Hall of Fame career as a golf coach, Drummond has already been inducted into the OHSAA Officials Hall of Fame for his decades of service- officiating mostly football and basketball.
